The core component of the SROP is an 8-week research project under the supervision of a University of Toronto faculty member who researches Psychology, Management, or Neuroscience. When the faculty members signed up for the Summer 2023 SROP, they submitted a short description of the SROP research project and a statement of why they wanted to be involved in the SROP. Here are all the research projects available to 2023 Canada SROP Students!
When you complete the student application for the Canada SROP, you will be asked to rank the top 3 research projects that you would like to work on, if you are accepted to the Summer 2023 SROP. This page lists all the available faculty research projects!
Please note the SROP will be operated in a hybrid manner in Summer 2023. Some of the faculty projects will require the student to be able to commute to one of our research sites in the Greater Toronto Area for the 8 weeks of the program. If you do not live within a commutable distance of UofT, then you may participate remotely by ranking only projects that indicate they are “remote” or “either” or you may participate in-person if you are willing to temporarily move to Toronto for the 8 weeks of the program. Please see our FAQ post that describes the hybrid approach in more detail.
