2026 Faculty Research Projects

The core component of PREP is an 8-week research project under the supervision of a University of Toronto (UofT) professor who researches topics in Psychology, Management, or Neuroscience. When professors signed up for the Summer 2026 PREP, they submitted a short description of the research project that students would be involved in and a statement describing their mentorship style.

PREP will be in-person (in Toronto) in Summer 2026. Many of the faculty projects require the student to be able to commute to one of our research sites in the Greater Toronto Area for the 8 weeks of the program, although others primarily involve work that can be done on your own.

To participate in PREP, you will also be required to attend a Professional Development session once a week, a Welcome Session at the beginning, and a PREP Research Symposium at the end.
